Penny Black Christmas mouse stamp card

What you will need to make this card:
White stamping card
Kraft card 8" x 4"
Patterned Christmas paper
Green Sharpie pen
Spun sugar, scattered straw and pumice stone distress ink
Red dye ink
Waterproof black ink
Little bow
Penny black Christmas mouse stamp from christmas critters stamp set
Docrafts 25th dec stamp from At Christmas Lucy Cromwell set.
Foam pads
Glue

Make a 4 x 4" card using the Kraft card.

Cut a piece of patterned Christmas paper slightly smaller than 4 X 4" and stick to the front of the card.

Cut a square of stamping paper or card 3 1/4" x 3 1/4"

Stamp the mouse image onto the card using versafine onyx black ink or any other black waterproof ink.

Use the scattered straw distress ink to colour the Christmas list.  Press the inkpad onto a glass mat and use the ink on the mat to watercolour the image as shown.

Then use spun sugar in the same way to colour the mouses ears and paws and finally use the pumice stone to colour the mouses fur.

I batch made several of the images at once

I used a green sharpie to draw around the edge of the card to make it stand out on the patterned paper.I then glued it to the center of the patterned square of paper on the front of the card.

I then made a little tag and coloured it with the green sharpie and stamped a 25th of Dec square in red dye ink and stuck this onto the tag.

I then stuck a small bow at the top of the tag.  I used a foam pad to stick the tag to the top left hand corner of the card as shown to give some dimension.
